Los ABCs para padres -- 8 Week Class in Spanish

Thursdays, Feb. 1 - Mar. 22, 6:00 - 8:30 pm   in City of Alexandria 

Topics will include child development, family rules, discipline, and stress management.  A family meal, childcare for ages 0 to 4, a children’s program and weekly raffles are included.

The FCPS Parent Resource Center (PRC) helps parents of students with disabilities.  It sponsors workshops, has a lending library, and has Parent Liaisons to help parents solve problems.   2334 Gallows Rd. The FCPS Parent Resource Center has a number of books for parents on the topic.

 

Educational Connections provides tutoring services and work on executive function and organizational skills,  offering a number of workshops to parents locally on homework, learning, and other topics that may be on our parental radar.  Many of the evening sessions are free.
