Mosaic Elementary PTA: Help Wanted!

We need to add volunteers in order to be able to offer the programs and services of the PTA! Below are all the places that we need help to function and run effectively. The more people that offer their time, the easier the workload! If you are able to help, please email us.

After-School Activities Committee

We need your help to fill a critical Committee - the After-School Activities Committee. We need several volunteers to help for this program to continue. If we do not get enough volunteers, then the PTA will not be able to offer any after school activities next year.

• Find after-school activities based upon history
• Liaison with the after-school providers
• Track registration for each activity, send communication emails and serve as a point person

Staff Appreciation Committee Members

Help plan MES Staff Appreciation activities throughout the year including a back to school lunch, holiday lunch, and daily activities during Teacher Appreciation Week in May.

Advocacy Committee Chair

The MES PTA is fortunate to be a part of a large network of PTAs. The Virginia PTA and the National PTA are actively engaged in sparking change in programs and policies that benefit children.

We are looking for a volunteer to help keep our members up to date on the important initiatives taking place. Responsibilities include:

• Tracking incoming information from within the extended PTA network.
• Coordinating the design and dissemination of that information to our members.

Memberhub Forum Administrator

The PTA has a new database that will allow us to connect our families through forums. The administrator will help set-up and monitor the forums. Memberhub makes set-up very easy so no advanced technical knowledge is necessary!

Communication Volunteer

Keeping our members informed is an important part of the PTA. We need a volunteer to help us coordinate incoming information from within our community and our extended PTA network and then coordinate the design and dissemination of that information through different channels.
